Dixon was drafted 2nd overall by the Bayhawks in the 2006 MLL Collegiate Draft. He is the MLL All-Time leader in 2-point goals. He was also named to the 2007 and 2008 All-Star Teams and competed in the 2007 Bud Light Skills Fastest Shot Competition.
Dixon played in 60 games with the Virginia Cavaliers, where he scored 55 goals and 57 assists, totaling 112 career points, and logged 109 ground balls. Dixon won 2 national championships at Virginia, won the McLaughlin Award as the nation's best midfielder, and was selected 2nd Team All-American junior year and 1st Team All-American senior year.
Dixon was a four year letter winner at Archbishop Spalding High School, where he was a 3 time All-Conference winner, and 2 time All-County, All-Metro, and All-State. He also set the Anne Arundel County scoring record with 389 points (193 goals and 196 assists), and was a 3 time team MVP.
Dixon was born on November 26, 1984 in Annapolis, MD, to Donna and Jeff Dixon. He graduated from University of Virginia in 2006 with a degree in Sociology.
