Polanco was again part of a major deal in May of the 2012 season, bringing the Bayhawks one of the strongest defensemen in the league.

One of the biggest trades in MLL history brought Polanco to Long Island, where he played in 74 games, recording 2 goals and 5 assists totaling 7 points, and adding 258 ground balls and 54 penalty minutes. He also earned his second career Warrior Defensive Player of the Year award with the Lizards.
Polanco stayed with the Barrage franchise when they moved to Philadelphia. He played in 12 games, recorded 44 ground balls, and was named Warrior Defensive Player of the Year.
Polanco was drafted 4th overall by the Barrage in the 2002 MLL Collegiate Draft. He played in 16 games for Bridgeport, recording 3 goals and an assist totaling 4 points, and adding 60 ground balls.
Polanco attended Hofstra University where he was a standout on the lacrosse team, as well as on the fooball field. He was named NCAA Player of the Year, as well as conference Defenseman of the Year in lacrosse and named to First Team All-American on the lacrosse field.
Polanco was born on August 18, 1980 in Oceanside, New York. He currently works in medical sales and as a dancer.
