Brendan Kelly, the team's owner, resides in Annapolis, Maryland. After purchasing the team in February of 2010, he changed the team name to the Chesapeake Bayhawks. The name change has helped to encompass the entire Chesapeake region of Maryland, northern Virginia, Delaware and the Eastern Shore. After attending Mount St. Joe High School, Brendan went on to Salisbury University where he was part of the 1995 National Championship team. After college, he played five years in the USCLA for Team Smartlink. He then coached in the league, leading Team Smartlink to four championships. Kelly also coached the Smartlink team to eight Ocean City Lacrosse Tournament championships. Kelly took over as Bayhawks head coach midseason in 2010 and led the Bayhawks to their first MLL title in 5 years.

Dave Cottle, the Chesapeake Bayhawks' President and Head Coach, spent 19 years coaching at Loyola College, leading the men’s lacrosse team to 181 wins and 14 consecutive appearances in the NCAA tournament. In 2001 Cottle was named the men’s lacrosse head coach at the University of Maryland where he remained through the 2010 season. During that time, the Terrapins saw 99 victories and 8 consecutive NCAA playoff appearances. A Salisbury University graduate, Cottle started with the Bayhawks in July of 2010 as a consultant.

The Chesapeake Bayhawks’ Player Personnel, Spencer Ford, is also a former MLL player. His tour through the MLL began in 2001 with the Bayhawks, and in 2006 he moved on to the Rochester Rattlers. In 2007, Spencer joined the LA Riptide where he earned the MLL Most Improved Player of the Year award, broke the single season record for assists in the league, was named to the 2007 All-Star Game, and earned a spot on the All-MLL Team. Spencer made his second All-Star team with the Long Island Lizards in 2008 and his third with the Bayhawks in 2009. A Baltimore native, Spencer attended Towson High School and graduated from Towson University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. As a member of the Towson University lacrosse team, Spencer earned the All-American and 1st Team All-Conference honors. Spencer currently lives in Annapolis, MD and enjoys spending time and playing lacrosse with his two kids, Spencer and Brody.

Jonathan Kemezis of Severna Park, MD, is the Chesapeake Bayhawks’ Vice President of Finance. He graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 1996 and earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Maryland, College Park in 2001. In 1998, Jonathan was a member of the University of Maryland ACC Championship lacrosse team and national runner-up team. In 2001, he went on to win the Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Award. Among his many hobbies of movies, music, and lacrosse, Jonathan enjoys spending time with friends and his wife Christie and kids, Connor and Kendall.
Constantine Simantiras, Director of Sponsorship and Ticket Sales for the Chesapeake Bayhawks is originally from Gaithersburg, MD. He attended Quince Orchard High School, where he played on both the varsity lacrosse and football team. Constantine went on to graduate in 2011 with a degree in Sports Management from Rutgers University. During his time at Rutgers he was a part of the club lacrosse and ski team for all four years. Currently living in Arlington, VA, Constantine enjoys the outdoors, taking trips and spending as much time possible with his friends and family.
Ticket Sales Representative
Jocelyn Gebhardt, Ticket Sales Representative for the Chesapeake Bayhawks, is originally from Fallston, MD. She attended East Stroudsburg University where she was the senior captain of the lacrosse team. Jocelyn graduated in 2010 with a Business Management degree. She currently coaches a 2017 women’s lacrosse team at M&D Lacrosse Club and does volunteer work with Field of Growth International. Some of Jocelyn’s hobbies include running in races, hiking, cooking and of course, playing lacrosse.
